Connecticut Sun News Release
UNCASVILLE, Conn. (June 6, 2008) - After months of research, planning and development, the Connecticut Sun relaunched its website on Friday afternoon.
The aim of the redesign is to make the website more fan-friendly while continuing to give Sun fans the most up-to-date information on the team. In addition to upgraded sections that will be familiar to visitors to the site, www.connecticutsun.com also now features "The Sun Spot," the Connecticut Sun corner of the fan forum world. There, fans can share thoughts on everything pertaining to the Sun with each other.
"We try to update our website as often as possible in order to accommodate our fans and encourage new fans to visit and learn about the team," Sun general manager Chris Sienko said. "With new features and a new look, we wanted www.connectictsun.com to be more interactive and fan-friendly, and I believe that we accomplished that."
In its sixth season in Connecticut, the Sun have been one of the most successful teams in the league, and will be contending for their sixth straight trip to the WNBA playoffs in 2008. Tickets for all games may be purchased by calling 1.877.WNBA.TIX, logging on to www.ticketmaster.com, or by visiting the Mohegan Sun Arena box office.
