
Sun Plan Weekend Basketball Celebration

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (June 18, 2009) - A busy weekend of activities will surround Connecticut Sun games against the Chicago Sky Friday night at 7 p.m. and the San Antonio Silver Stars on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m.
On Friday night, the Connecticut Historical Society will bring elements of its women's basketball exhibit to the Mohegan Sun Arena concourse as part of Great Basketball - Then and Now. Fans will receive cheer cards, sponsored by Michael Jordan's 23 Sports Café.
On Sunday, fans are encouraged to celebrate Father's Day by coming out to Mohegan Sun Arena for Dads and Daughters Day. The first 2,500 fans through the door will receive a Connecticut Sun license plate. Girl Scout SUN FEST will also be conducted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., highlighted by a magician, Solar Power Dance Team clinic, Radio Disney and a variety of other activities both in the arena and on the concourse.
Good tickets for both games are still available at Mohegan Sun Arena, and can be reserved by calling a Sun Ticket Representative at 1.877.SUN.TIXX (786-8499).
