
Sun Hold Open Practice At Saint Joseph College

UNCASVILLE, CT. (May 2, 2008) - The WNBA's Connecticut Sun will hold an open practice at Saint Joseph College on May 6th.
The practice will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the O'Connell Athletic Center on the college campus in West Hartford.
The practice is open to the public. Blaze, the team mascot, will be on hand, and there will be an autograph session immediately following the practice.
Beginning their sixth season in Connecticut, the Sun have won more games than any WNBA franchise since 2003. Anchored by returning veterans Lindsay Whalen and Asjha Jones, the Sun are aiming for their sixth straight trip to the playoffs. Their lineup currently features former UConn stars Tamika Raymond, Barbara Turner and Ketia Swanier, and veteran forward Tamika Whitmore.
The Sun begin the regular season May 17th at 4 p.m., hosting the Atlanta Dream at Mohegan Sun Arena. Tickets for all games may be purchased by calling 1.877.SUN.TIXX, logging on to www.connecticutsun.com, or by visiting the Mohegan Sun Arena box office.
