Indiana Fever News Release

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Fever begins its ninth year in the Women's National Basketball Association, and for the ninth consecutive season, the Fever has completed its local television package with regional sports network FSN Indiana. For the seventh straight year, the tandem of Chris Denari and Debbie Antonelli will call the action on Indiana's local telecasts.

Nearly one-third (10 of 34) of the Fever's regular season games will be on television.

Indiana's opening game of the regular season, May 17 against the Washington Mystics, will be the first of eight home games televised on FSN Indiana. A pair of games against Eastern Conference contender Connecticut highlights the package, featuring a rivalry which produced four overtime periods in a three-game playoff series last summer. The package also includes a pair of dates against Eastern Conference playoff foes Detroit and New York, and Western Conference powerhouse Sacramento.

Last year's local TV package included a road game for the first time in Fever history, which was produced by FSN Arizona when the Fever battled the Phoenix Mercury. Any road TV games for 2008 are yet to be announced.

In addition, Indiana will appear on a pair national telecasts during the 2008 regular season. Its game on Tuesday, May 27 at Connecticut is part of the league's ESPN Tuesday package which runs exclusively on ESPN2, with almost every Tuesday night showcasing the WNBA with an East Coast game followed by a West Coast game on ESPN2. A second national game airs on ESPN2 when Indiana is at New York, Thursday, June 26.
