Sugar Skulls Announce New Player Signings for 2025 Season

Tucson, AZ - The Tucson Sugar Skulls have added three more players to their roster for the 2025 season. Nymonta Doucoure (WR, University of West Florida), CJ Wilson (RB, University of West Florida), and Ch'aim Smith (DL, West Chester University).

Nymonta Doucoure joins the Sugar Skulls for his first professional season in the IFL. A versatile athlete, he started eight games at right tackle for UWF in 2022, contributing to an offensive line ranked seventh in the NCAA in rushing yards, with 233.9 yards per game. Doucoure earned NJCAA All-America honors at Garden City Community College, bringing a solid offensive background to the roster.

CJ Wilson begins his IFL career with the Sugar Skulls, following a productive college career where he set a UWF school record with 12 rushing touchdowns and averaged 6.3 yards per carry in 2022. He also played at South Dakota State, where he recorded 491 rushing yards in 2019. The Daytona Beach native will add depth to Tucson's offensive options.

Ch'aim Smith joins Tucson with IFL experience, having played with Northern Arizona, Dakota, Sioux Falls, and Duke City from 2021 to 2023. Over these seasons, he recorded 64.5 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and seven sacks. At West Chester, Smith earned multiple honors, including All-PSAC East and All-American recognition.
