Eighteen-year old Mooseheads' defenceman Jiri Suchy and seventeen-year old winger Jakub Voracek will leave for the Czech Republic tomorrow to participate in their country's Nation Junior Team Evaluation Camp, Mooseheads' General Manager Marcel Patenaude announced today.

The camp is the final step in selecting the Czech Republic team for the upcoming 2007 World Junior Championship, which will be held in Mora and Leksand, Sweden from Dec. 26 to Jan. 5.

Voracek currently leads the Mooseheads, and all QMJHL rookies, in scoring with 14 goals, 28 assists, 42 points, while Suchy (2 goals, 11 assists) is second in the league in given hits with 111.

"We are very pleased to see Jiri Suchy and Jakub Voracek gaining this recognition at the international level," Patenaude said. "While their talent and leadership will be missed by the Mooseheads, we feel honored by their selection and wish them the best in their efforts to represent their country at such a high level."
