Suchy, Voracek on Czech U-20 team

Halifax Mooseheads defenseman Jiri Suchy and forward Jakub Voracek have been named to the Czech Republic National Under-20 team for the upcoming 2007 World Junior Championship, Halifax Mooseheads General Manager Marcel Patenaude learned today.

Suchy and Voracek will be part of the Czech Republic's 23-man roster for the tournament, which takes place in Leksand and Mora, Sweden, Dec. 26, 2006 to Jan. 05, 2007.

"The Halifax Mooseheads would like to congratulate Jiri Suchy and Jakub Voracek," Patenaude said. "It is an honor for our organization to have these two players performing at such a prestigious event, and we wish them the best."
