Halifax Mooseheads News Release
Your Halifax Mooseheads are back on home ice this Thursday night at 7pm for Student Night to kick off three-games-in-four days at Scotiabank Centre.
The Herd are coming off a successful road trip that saw the team win two-of-three against some of the QMJHL's toughest competition to reach the 40-win plateau for the season. The Mooseheads have 12 games remaining in the regular season and all of them will be played against division opponents. Halifax has already clinched a playoff berth and the Maritimes Division title with a 30 point lead over the Moncton Wildcats.
Student Night features $10 tickets for all students as the Saint John Sea Dogs make their final visit of the season. The Moose are 6-and-0 vs the Dogs this season and have outscored them 46-16. Saint John is currently eight points out of a playoff spot, sitting 17th in the QMJHL standings.
Halifax will also play host to the Cape Breton Eagles on DND Appreciation Night Saturday at 7pm and Acadie-Bathurst Sunday afternoon at 4pm in a make-up game for their previously postponed matchup on February 17th. Tickets purchased for the postponed game will be honoured on Sunday.
