Strike Force Sign Malcom Lee
SAN DIEGO, California - The Strike Force have signed defensive back Malcom Lee to their 2020 Indoor Football League roster.
Lee (6-2, 200, University of British Columbia) joins San Diego for his first season as a member of the Strike Force. The Canadian native took part in the CFL combine and impressed many viewers, earning himself the #19 spot on the CFL's Central Scouting Bureau rankings. During the combine Lee ranked in the top five for the vertical jump, broad jump, 3-cone sprint and shuttle time.
"Malcom is a long, athletic corner that is aggressive at the point of attack," said Strike Force General Manager Ryan Eucker. "His experience in the Canadian style game and handling motion will be a natural transition to indoor. We're looking forward to seeing him compete in training camp."
Lee started his collegiate football career out of University of Nevada and eventually transferred to University of British Colombia. He racked up 100 tackles (69 solo and 31 assisted) and saw 34 game appearances during his time as a Thunderbird. Lee is known for his courageous change from wide receiver to cornerback before the championship game of his freshman season, after the victory, Lee never returned to offensive side of football.
The dual sport athlete graduated from St. Thomas More Collegiate High School. Lee was named MVP and was selected to the Provincial All-Star game in 2013. He was born in Surrey, British Colombia and is the brother of BC Lions Running Back, Jamall Lee.
