SAN DIEGO, California - The Strike Force have signed offensive lineman James Hines to their 2020 Indoor Football League roster.
Hines (6-5, 325, Southern Oregon University) joins San Diego Strike Force for his first season as a member of the IFL. The California native out of Oakland attended an open workout for the IFL and caught the Strike Forces' attention landing him a spot on the 2020 roster.
"James attended one of our open workouts in southern California this fall and impressed our staff" said Strike Force General Manager Ryan Eucker. "He is a big-frame guy with great reach and has put a lot of work into his footwork prior to his first professional season. We're looking forward to seeing him in our 2020 training camp."
Hines previously played his first two seasons at Sacramento City College and made his way to Southern Oregon University to finish out his colligate career. James was a standout left tackle on the 2017 Southern Oregon Squad who finished the regular season undefeated heading into the NAIA Championship where they eventually fell in the Semi-finals Reinhardt for their first loss of the season. He was a two-year starter and made the All-Frontier Conference second team during his senior season in 2018.
He attended Armijo High School, located in Fairfield, California.
