
Streaking RiverHawks Look to Solidify Playoff Spot

LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford RiverHawks return home for a five-game, three-day homestand against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, The RiverHawks swept Joliet, and have won eight in a row. Rockford now has sole possession of the final playoff spot; they play three at Kansas City over the weekend.
All the action begins at 6:05 p.m. Monday at Road Ranger Stadium. The RiverHawks and RedHawks make up a rain out from June 6. Gates open at 5 p.m. with game two scheduled to start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. It is also Road Ranger customer appreciation day, stop by any area Road Ranger store to pick up a voucher for free tickets.
Tuesday is another "Two for Tuesday". Not only do you get two tickets for the price of one, but you get two games for the price of one. The RiverHawks and RedHawks play a doubleheader, to make up a rainout on June 23. First game starts at 6:05 p.m., the gates open at 5 p.m. The second game will begin about 30 minutes after the first game.
The homestand concludes Wednesday with the annual Dog Days of Summer sponsored by Pet Smart and the Carlson Canine Camp. Fans can bring dogs to the park for free, and can win dog related prizes. Wednesday is also a Rock River Valley Blood Center "Straight to the Heart Wednesday". Fans can receive tickets by donating blood at any RRVBC location. Game time is 7:05 p.m.
Thursday, the RiverHawks are off, but fans can still meet the team. A meet and greet party will be held at the Tilted Kilt, located in the Clock Tower resort, the official hotel of the Rockford RiverHawks. Fan can meet players, enjoy great food and atmosphere from 7-9 p.m. Fans will also have the opportunity to win great RiverHawks prizes.
