Joliet strikes early and often
August 13, 2010 - Northern League (NL)
Schaumburg Flyers News Release
SCHAUMBURG, IL - The Joliet bats came alive early in the game, but the rain would inevitably decide the fate of the contest as the Flyers and Jackhammers will conclude their game tomorrow at 5pm.
The game was left in the top of the 4th inning, as the Jackhammers will pick things up with a 9-0 lead. The Flyers and Jackhammers will begin the seven inning second game 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first.
The delay of tonight's game means that the Flyers will reschedule their fireworks date until Saturday, September 4th. Make sure to come back tomorrow for the double header, or back for one of our last fireworks shows of the 2010 season! Tickets can be purchased online at flyersbaseball.com or by calling 847-891-2255.
