
Storm Waives Kaila Charles

SEATTLE - The Seattle Storm announced today the team was waived forward Kaila Charles.
Charles signed with the Storm as a free agent in February and averaged 1.5 points and 1.2 rebounds in four games this season, playing an average of 10.3 minutes per game. She was originally selected by the Connecticut Sun as the 23rd overall pick in the 2020 WNBA Draft out of Maryland. Charles appeared in 51 games, making 11 starts, and saw action in 11 playoff games over two seasons with the Sun, averaging 4.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.4 blocks per game.
