- The Storm and the Outlaws are both coming off of championship seasons in 2006. The Storm won the UIF with a record of 17-0 while Billings won the NIFL with a record of 16-1.

- This will be the 10th meeting between the teams in their franchises histories. Sioux Falls leads the all-time series 6 to 3. The last time the two teams met was on July 25, 2004 in the NIFL's Pacific Conference Championship game. Sioux Falls won 44-13 at the Sioux Falls Arena.

- The last time the Storm ventured to Billings was June 12, 2004. The Outlaws defeated the Storm 44-34.

- With 208 passing yards, Storm QB Terrance Bryant will have 15,000 for his career. Bryant is currently playing in his 7th season of indoor football.

- The Outlaws defense recorded six sacks in their loss in Colorado last week. Billings leads the UIF in sacks recorded.

- Storm wide receiver Leon Hall leads the UIF with eight receptions. Hall is also tied for 5th in the UIF in all-purpose yards with 132. Billings wide receiver Charles Frazier is tied for 5th in the league in receptions with 6.
