GAME PREVIEW:
The Beef (1-0) return home after defeating the Sioux
City Bandits last weekend 47-26 at the Tyson Events
Center. The Ice (1-0) hit the road for the first of three
in a row, coming off a 26-25 win over the Billings
Outlaws last weekend at the Budweiser Events
Center. The Beef were led by QB Fran Johnson who
completed 12 of his 16 passes for 122 yards and 3 touchdowns and DB James Johnson who had 9.5
tackles. The Ice were led by RB Eugene Reed who
rushed for 137 yards on 22 carries and a touchdown. Defensively, DL Steve Frye led the way with 8 tackles
(2 for loss) and a sack.
