Guelph Storm News Release

The Storm would like to thank all fans who generously donated to our two charity drives this past month.

On Sunday, October 21, Brent Johnson of Wayne Pittman Ford and the Guelph Storm hosted the annual Food Drive in support of the Guelph Food Bank. This year saw over 4,440 pounds of food collected along with $540 in cash donations which will provide approximately 5,000 meals for the Guelph Food Bank!

Oosterveld Heating and Air Conditioning held their annual Winter Wear Drive last Friday when the Storm hosted the Erie Otters. Fans were asked to donate gently used hats, coats, boots, mitts, and scarves in support of the Lakeside HOPE House.

On Friday night, over $600 was raised from the Chuck-a-Puck fundraiser and 10 bins were filled to the top with donations of winter clothes for those in need in our community.

Amazing! We cannot thank you enough for your giving spirit Storm fans and your support of those less fortunate in our community.
