Oshawa, ON- The Oshawa Generals announced today they have acquired forward Kyle Bollers from the Saginaw Spirit in exchange for a draft selection.
In exchange, the Spirit will receive:
12th Round Selection in 2023
An Oshawa native, Bollers played his minor hockey with the Oshawa Minor Generals and will now fulfill a childhood dream when he suits up for his home town team as a member of the OHL club. "Playing for Oshawa is a dream come true-I remember coming to the Gens games Sunday nights growing up, so getting to join the team is something I'm excited about. I'm happy to be getting back into the league and I'm lucky and grateful it's the Generals giving me that opportunity" said Bollers after being acquired.
Prior to joining the Gens, Bollers played two seasons with the Spirit before beginning the year with the Aurora Tigers of the OJHL for the 2018-19 season. In 19 games, Bollers has tallied seven goals and 20 assists for 27 points in 19 games with Aurora.
The Generals expect Bollers to be in the lineup when the team travels to Peterborough on Thursday.
