Tri-City Storm News Release
Tri-City plays two games at the Viaero Center this weekend as the 1st place team in the USHL league standings. After a perfect three game in three day weekend, the Storm now hold a five point lead over Muskegon in the USHL league standings, and a ten point lead in the Western Conference standings, both the largest leads for the team all season long. Defenseman Ronnie Attard and forward Brendan Furry were named USHL Players of the Week yesterday, following a tremendous performance this weekend. Friday's game is a $5 Kids Friday, and Saturday's game is the team's "70's Night" Promotion.

Following three wins on the road this weekend, Tri-City now has 70 points in the USHL league standings
Tri-City has a five point lead over Muskegon in the USHL league standings
Tri-City has a ten point lead over Waterloo in the Western Conference standings
With 70 points in the first 45 games of the season, this year's Tri-City team has eclipsed a previous team record held by the 2003-2004 Anderson Cup Championship team for the quickest to 70 points in team history
A win on Friday against Chicago would tie a season high six game win streak for Tri-City
The Storm have won 9 of their last 10 games
Tri-City is 17-3-1-0 this season at the Viaero Center (Home Record is 18-3-1-0 with one "home" win at USHL Falls Classic in Pittsburg)
The Storm penalty kill is best in the USHL at 88.3% this season.
This weekend's games marked the first time since February 13-14-15, in which the Storm won three consecutive games, in three consecutive days, when all three games were played on the road. The last time this feat was achieved by the team was during the 2003-2004 season, Tri-City defeated St. Louis (defunct) 3-0 on February 13th, 2004, then beat Danville (defunct) 5-1 the following day, and finally defeat Green Bay 3-1 on February 15th 2004.
Individual Notes:
Brendan Furry scored his 1st Career USHL Hat Trick on Sunday in the Storm's 6-3 road win over Waterloo. Furry had two multi goal games earlier this season, and one in last season's playoffs, all three with the Omaha Lancers. Sunday was his 1st multi goal game as a member of the Storm.
Furry was named USHL Forward of the Week following his three goal, five assist, weekend
Ronnie Attard broke a USHL record in the Storm's win over Waterloo on Sunday and was named the USHL Defenseman of the Week following a two goal, three assist, weekend.
Attard's game winning goal on Sunday was his 20th goal of the season. Attard now holds the record for the most goals scored in a single season by a defenseman in the Tier I history (2002-present) of the USHL
Isaiah Saville recorded back to back wins in goal after missing several games due to injury.
