
Storm Signs Kaela Davis to Hardship Contract

SEATTLE -The Seattle Storm announced today the team has signed forward Kaela Davis to a hardship contract. As per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.
Davis signed a hardship contract with the Storm on May 13 and was active for one game before being released from the contract on May 18. Davis was selected by the Dallas Wings with the tenth overall pick in the 2017 WNBA Draft. She spent three seasons (2017-19) with Dallas, where she averaged 6.0 points in 19.2 minutes in 33 games in her most recent season with the team (2019). In 2020, Davis was picked up by the Atlanta Dream, appearing in two games a with the Dream in Florida. She was recently signed to a training camp contract by the Chicago Sky on March 14, appearing in one game with the Sky where she recorded a rebound and assist against LA on May 6 before being waived on May 9.
The Storm hosts New York on Sunday, May 29, at 3:00 at Climate Pledge Arena in the second of a two-game series between the two teams. Seattle defeated the Liberty 79-71 in overtime on Friday. Tickets are available by visiting http://stormbasketball.com, or call 206-217-WNBA (9622).
