
Storm Set for Road Preseason Game against Lancers

RALSTON, NE. - The Tri-City Storm will continue its exhibition schedule today with a road game against the Omaha Lancers at Liberty First Credit Union Arena. Tri-City has posted a 2-1-0-0 through the opening three games of this year's five-game preseason schedule. Puck drop for tonight's road game is scheduled for 7:05pm CT.
Tri-City (2-1-0-0) posted wins over the Sioux Falls Stampede and Fargo Force at last weekend's "Lancer Bowl" preseason showcase event at Liberty First Credit Union Arena. The Storm dropped the middle game of the weekend in a tightly contested battle against the Waterloo Black Hawks. Goal scorers for Tri-City through the opening three games of the preseason include Cameron Briere (3), Carmelo Crandell (2), Owen Beckner, Nick Peluso, Luke Posthumus, Nolan Roed, Blake Steenerson, and Dallas Vieau. Ivan Zhigalov and Daniel Heroux have each posted a win in net for the Storm. Tri-City's powerplay has scored twice on fourteen opportunities through the first three games of the preseason. The team's penalty kill has been tested twelve times, and has allowed two goals.
Omaha (0-2-0-0) looks for its first win of the exhibition schedule after dropping each game played in last weekend's "Lancer Bowl" preseason showcase event at Liberty First Credit Union Arena. The Lancers dropped a 3-1 decision to the Lincoln Stars on Friday, September 8th, and a 6-3 decision to the Fargo Force on Saturday, September 9th to begin preseason play. Omaha will face the Stars again at the Ice Box on Friday, September 15th, before concluding a five-game exhibition schedule on Saturday, September 16th at the Viaero Center in a matchup against the Storm. Goal scorers for Omaha through two preseason games include Jamison Sluys, Sam Scheetz, Justin Stupka, and Ethan Fredericks. Jack Olson, Croix Kochendorfer, Mikhail Yegorov, and Felix Noack have all split time in goal for the Lancers.
Single-game tickets for the 24th season in organizational history are on sale now. Season Tickets for the 2023-2024 regular season are currently available and may be purchased by contacting a member of the Storm Sales Team. Season Ticket Holders will receive free tickets for the Storm's home preseason game against the Omaha Lancers on Saturday, September 16th. The tickets will be available for Season Ticket Holders on the night of the game. Ticket prices for the Storm's preseason home game at the Viaero Center are $10 for Adults, and $8 for Kids in all areas of the venue except for glass. First Row Glass Seats will cost $15 for Adults, and $10 for Kids for the home preseason game.
Tonight's exhibition game is set to begin at 7:05pm CT and will be streamed on Flo Sports and Storm Radio. Tickets to home games at the Viaero Center may be purchased online by skating to www.StormHockey.com, or by calling the Viaero Center Box Office during Box Office hours at 308-338-8144.
