Waterloo, Iowa - Reservations are currently being accepted for the Waterloo Black Hawks' Kingpin Social at the Rink group seating area, presented by Maple Lanes in Waterloo.

During each home game at Young Area, groups of 8-20 can come out to cheer for the Black Hawks while watching all the action from just outside the glass. The ice-level seating features high-top tables and bar stools. Fans age 21 and over can each take advantage of one complimentary alcoholic beverage from a nearby drink stand. Then after the game, keep the fun going at Maple Lanes' Kingpin Social lounge (2608 University Avenue); each fan will receive a voucher redeemable for a complimentary beverage there.

"Last season, we were excited to add this new dimension to our partnership with Maple Lanes," said Black Hawks President and COO Joe Greene. "It's great to be able to send fans to see their recently renovated space. For anyone who hasn't been to Maple Lanes, it is really a wonderful experience."

Completely overhauled after a 2020 fire, Maple Lanes and Kingpin Social take their patrons beyond a typical bowling alley experience. Bowlers have the option to choose a variety of entertaining games beyond vintage ten-pin, ten-frame scoring. Kingpin Social also includes a duckpin bowling area, plus pinball, darts, pool, and more. Seasonal outdoor space for dining, sand volleyball, and cornhole is also available. Kingpin Social's available full menu makes the lounge worth a stop for lunch or dinner even on a day when visitors may not have time for Maple Lanes' other entertaining diversions.

A Kingpin Social at the Rink package begins at $200 and includes tickets for up to 12 people. Tickets for each additional person - up to 20 total - are $17. The space is available for one group per game. As of September 13th, Kingpin Social at the Rink can still be reserved for many prime dates including New Year's Eve and games against rivals like the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders and Dubuque Fighting Saints. The earliest date currently open is for the Hawks' game on Saturday, November 4th against the Muskegon Lumberjacks.
