Tri-City Storm News Release

KEARNEY, NE. - The Tri-City Storm seeks a bounce-back victory tonight at the Viaero Center over the Sioux Falls Stampede in Game #2 of the team's opening round playoff series following last night's 6-5 overtime loss. Tri-City must win tonight's second game of the Best-Of-Three Series to force a decisive third game tomorrow night. Puck drop for tonight's playoff game at the Viaero Center between the Storm and the Stampede is scheduled for 7:05pm CT.

Tickets may be purchased online by skating to, or by calling the Viaero Center Box Office at 308-338-8144. All non-first-row seats are available for only $7 per game. Glass tickets are $15 for Adults, and $12 for Kids. Tickets are complimentary for all Tri-City Storm Season Ticket Holders. Tri-City (0-1, 4th Seed) dropped last night's playoff opener to Sioux Falls despite a three-goal performance from Jake Rozzi. Rozzi's hat trick was only the third in the Storm's postseason history, and the first three-goal game by a Tri-City player since Graham Gamache recorded a hat trick on April 24th, 2023, in the Storm's 6-1 playoff game win over the Sioux City Musketeers at the Viaero Center. Nolan Roed and August Falloon also scored a goal for Tri-City during last night's contest. The Storm was outshot 13-5 during the overtime period, but outshot the Stampede by an overall margin of 43-37 in last night's opening game of the postseason. Tri-City goaltender Cameron Korpi made 31 saves on 37 shots during last night's game. If the Storm wins tonight's game, a final game in the Best-Of-Three series will be played tomorrow night at the Viaero Center.

Sioux Falls (1-0, 5th Seed) captured last night's game with a game-winning goal in overtime scored by Hunter Anderson. The goal was netted on the powerplay, and was assisted by Jaksen Panzer and Matthew Grimes. Tyler Borgula (2), Chase LaPinta (2), and John McNelis also scored goals for the Stampede in the victory. Sioux Falls' netminder Christian Manz made 38 saves on 43 shots to collect the win in goal. A road win tonight over the Storm would advance the Stampede into a Best-of-Five Conference Semifinals Round series against the #1 Overall Seed Fargo Force.

Tonight's playoff game is set to begin at 7:05pm CT, and will be streamed on FloHockey and Storm Radio. Tickets to postseason games at the Viaero Center may be purchased online by skating to, or by calling the Viaero Center Box Office at 308-338-8144.
