
Storm playing Saturday and Sunday in Ohio

KEARNEY - The Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League will make the first of two long January road trips this coming weekend when they travel to Columbus, Ohio to meet the newest member of the United States Hockey League, the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets.
The Junior Blue Jackets, who recently broke a 22-game winless streak, are
3-3-1 in their last 7 games. The Storm, who enters the weekend with a record of 16-8-2, earned three of a possible four standings points against Waterloo last weekend.
This weekend's games will be played at Nationwide Arena, home of the National Hockey League's Columbus Blue Jackets. Due to Columbus' Saturday night NHL game with Nashville, the Storm's game on Saturday will start at 12:05 p.m. CST. Sunday's game will begin at 5:05 p.m. CST. Both games can be heard locally on Rock 101.5 FM, beginning 20 minutes before scheduled faceoff, with John Meissner.
