
Storm activate Batkovic, place Stevenson on IR

SEATTLE â The Seattle Storm today activated center Suzy Batkovic and placed center Mandisa Stevenson , who has lower back pain, on the injured list.
Batkovic, who was the 22nd overall pick in the 2003 WNBA Draft by the Storm, recently returned from playing professionally with the Euroleague team Ros Casares, located in Valencia, Spain. She will be in uniform for the Storm vs. Sun game in Connecticut tomorrow (6/7). Tipoff is 5 p.m. (Pacific Time) and will be broadcast on ESPN2.
The Storm's next home game at KeyArena is June 15 vs. the Minnesota Lynx. Single-game tickets for Storm games can be purchased through TicketMaster by logging on to storm.wnba.com or calling 1-877-WNBA-TIX. Storm tickets are also available at the Sonics & Storm Team Shop located at 312 First Ave. on KeyArena's West Plaza.
The Seattle Sonics & Storm manages the Puget Sound region's professional basketball franchises â the NBA's Seattle SuperSonics and the WNBA's Seattle Storm. The organization oversees all sales, marketing, finance, public relations and basketball operations for the teams. The Basketball Club of Seattle LLC owns both teams.
