Sioux Falls Storm News Release
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Sioux Falls Storm Indoor Football Team have traded quarterback Dalton Sneed to the Bay Area Panthers in a deal that brings defensive lineman Kyree Campbell to Sioux Falls for the 2023 IFL season.
Sneed appeared in 10 games for the Storm last season, throwing for 1,354 yards and 25 touchdowns while adding 360 rushing yards to his season totals.
Campbell appeared in seven games for the Green Bay Blizzard in 2022, posting 12 tackles (7 solo) while adding a blocked kick and a sack in his first IFL season.
The Woodbridge, VA native started three seasons for the Florida Gators, posting a 29-9 win/loss record and an appearance in the SEC Championship game. The 295-pound defensive lineman finished his career at Florida with 110 total tackles (31 solo), 11.5 tackles-for-loss, 5.0 sacks and two fumble recoveries in 41 games played.
The addition of Campbell strengthens the Storm defense that already have added All-IFL First Team defenseman James Brown (Green Bay) and IFL sacks leader Undraez Lilly (Sioux Falls) to the 2023 roster.
The Storm are expecting a position battle in training camp, with veteran QB and 2019 United Bowl MVP Lorenzo Brown returning to the roster after a one-year stint with the Sioux City Bandits and a semifinals finish in the Champions Indoor Football League.
Former Ohio Northern quarterback Brody Hahn is also expected to compete for the starting job this season.
Season tickets for the 2023 season are on sale now, with single game tickets available for purchase on Wednesday, March 1st. The 2023 regular season includes seven home games, with the home opener scheduled to kick off on Sunday, April 9th at 5:05 p.m. CT against the Iowa Barnstormers.
