Stockton Snaps Losing Streak with 7-1 Win

The Ports snapped a five-game losing streak with a 7-1 victory over the Bakersfield Blaze on Monday Night. Ports starter Dan Straily earned his tenth win of the season, throwing 6.0 innings, giving up just one (unearned) run while striking out a season high 11 strikeouts.
Conner Crumbliss hit his second home run of the season to lead off the game for the Ports. Crumbliss is currently hitting .246 with 36 RBIs and 62 walks this season. Six different Ports recorded an RBI in the victory over the Blaze.
The Ports get a well-deserved rest before heading on the road for a week to finish off the month of July. The road trip starts with a four-game series against Visalia.
