(LANCASTER, CA) - The second annual JetHawks Charity Bowling tournament has been scheduled for August 10. For just $10, fans can bowl three games with JetHawks players and coaches and receive a free ticket to Lancaster's August 14 game against San Jose.

A portion of the proceeds from the tournament will be donated to Grace Resource Center, a non-profit organization that provides food, clothing, shelter and other necessities to those in need. The tournament will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Brunswick Sands Bowl on Sierra Highway in Lancaster.

"We are very excited to partner with Brunswick Sands Bowl in Lancaster and Grace Resource Center to put together this event for the second straight year," JetHawks Media Manager William Thornhill said. "It was a ton of fun last year seeing professional baseball players out of their element and struggling to keep up with fans on the lanes. There will be a lot of laughs, a lot of smiles and it's all for charity."

Fans can purchase tickets to the bowling tournament by calling the JetHawks box office at (661) 726-5400, during the JetHawks next homestand against Inland Empire August 3 through August 6, or at Brunswick Sands Bowl.
