Stockton Ports News Release
STOCKTON, Calif. - With an exciting start to the season that led to the clinching of a first-half Division Title, the Ports have earned a spot in the 2018 California League Playoffs, which will begin in September with a best-of-five game Divisional Series. The Ports are pleased to announce that playoff tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, July 16th beginning at 9:00am.
The team's opponent for the Divisional Series is still to be determined, but the Ports will be hosting games 1 and 2 at Banner Island Ballpark on Wednesday, September 5th (game 1) and Thursday, September 6th (game 2), both beginning at 7:10pm. The winner of the Divisional Series will advance to the Championship Series.
Tickets for games 1 and 2 of the Divisional Series can be purchased online at stocktonports.com, at the Ports box office, or by calling the Ports front office at (209) 644-1900 beginning Monday, July 16th. The general public will be able to buy Field Box tickets for $12 each, MVP tickets for $15 each, and Home Plate/Dugout Box tickets for $17 each.
Should the Divisional Series go to a deciding game 5, which would take place on September 9th, there is a possibility that the Ports will host the game at Banner Island Ballpark. That is still to be determined as the team who finishes with the best overall record during the regular season will play host.
