Sarnia Sting News Release
Sarnia, ON. - Sarnia Sting General Manager Dylan Seca announced today that the Hockey Club has acquired a conditional 15th round pick in the 2022 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection in exchange for Justin Nolet.
Nolet, a 5'11", 181-pound Defenceman, was drafted by the Sting in 2017 and spent the 2019-20 season with the team. During his first OHL campaign the Mississauga native amassed 6 goals, 12 assists and a +6 rating through 51 games of the pandemic-shortened season.
Seca comments on Nolet and the transaction:
"With the number of overage players on our roster we wanted to help find Justin a place to play this year. He is a great teammate, and always represented our program with class. We thank him for his contributions."
The Sarnia Sting wish Justin the best in Kitchener and onward in his hockey career.
