Saginaw Spirit Seeking New Billet Families

The Saginaw Spirit Hockey Club is looking for additional billet (host) families for the 2021-2022 hockey season!  The team is always looking for interested and qualified families who would like to house a Spirit player as part of the development of a young athlete.  Billeting can be a very exciting and rewarding experience!

Billet families are a crucial component of the Spirit project.  The billet family accepts a player into their home as a member of their family while providing housing, meals and emotional support for the duration of the hockey season.  Families have the opportunity to develop a positive and nurturing relationship that will be a crucial element in an athlete's development.

All billets are subject to a reference and criminal background check.  Also, please note, that homes in Saginaw Township are preferred due to schooling and player transportation.

Applications to become a Saginaw Spirit billet family can be downloaded below and submitted to the Saginaw Spirit Store at 5789 State Street in Saginaw or emailed to info@saginawspirit.com . Qualified families will be notified for a phone interview once all applications have been reviewed.
