Sting Acquire Mack from Otters

SARNIA, ON - Sarnia Sting General Manager Nick Sinclair announced today that the Hockey Club has acquired 2000 born Forward Joe Mack from the Erie Otters.

Mack, a New Hudson, MI native is entering his third Ontario Hockey League season. The 6'2" 192 lbs. forward was originally selected by the Otters in the 8th round, 161st overall pick in the 2016 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection. In a combined 118 OHL games, Mack has tallied 17 goals, 15 assists and 40 penalty minutes.

Sinclair comments on today's acquisition. "The addition of Joe to our forward group will help provide some experience and depth to our lineup heading into the season."

In exchange for the forward, the Otters will receive a 13th round pick in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection.
