Ontario Reign News Release

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, four-time Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's 2014 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, have announced the return of their "Stick with Reading" reading program using Reign tickets as an incentive for children to open up books and get reading during the 2014-15 season.

School-aged children, up to 13 years old, are encouraged to read for a total of ten hours to receive a FREE Ontario Reign game ticket. For every hour a child reads, their parent, guardian or teacher will sign the bookmark to confirm that the child has read for that length of time. Once the bookmark is filled with ten signatures, the child can accompany their parent/guardian to the Reign front office to redeem the bookmark for a free ticket to one of six Sunday games during the 2014-15 season. Parents/guardians can get discounted tickets for the same game. This offer must be redeemed at least 48 hours prior to the desired game.

In addition to a free Ontario Reign game, children who complete the program will also receive a certificate of completion and a souvenir puck, subject to availability.

The Reign want to invite entire classes to participate in this program too! Classes of 20 or more students that complete the "Stick with Reading" program will be entered to win a classroom visit from an Ontario Reign player or mascot towards the end of the season.
