Stevens Scores Season-High 18 Points as Sky Drop Series Finale to Mystics, 71-79

TODAY'S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE
Sky center Azurá Stevens scored a season-high 18 points in the Sky's eight-point loss to the Mystics on Sunday afternoon. Earlier this season, the former first round pick had scored 15 points, her former season-high in points scored, in Chicago's loss to Phoenix on Aug. 31, 2021.
Three Sky players scored at least 12 points today, as Stevens (18 points), guard Allie Quigley (15 points) and forward Candace Parker (12 points) were key contributors to Chicago's final points scored total.
The 2020 WNBA Defensive Player of the Year, otherwise known as Sky forward Candace Parker, finished with another double-double (12 points, 11 rebounds). Her performance against Washington today makes for her third-consecutive game with a double-double.
Roughly 4,707 fans, including the University of Illinois Fighting Illini Women's Basketball Team, were in attendance to watch the Sky battle the Mystics this afternoon.
