Green Bay Blizzard News Release
Former Green Bay Blizzard DB Stephen Cason (5'11, 215, College of William & Mary) has signed with the Georgia Force of the Arena Football League. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"This is exciting. It feels like all the work during the season and off-season finally paid off and it's a step in the right direction," said Cason in a telephone interview.
Cason was a member of the 2007 Blizzard team who made a second straight trip to the American Conference Championship Game. Cason is excited to have the opportunity to play with former Blizzard players QB Chris Greisen, DB David Crocker and WR Brent Holmes.
"I have heard good things about all those guys...it will be like a fraternity, we can reminisce about the old times in Green Bay."
