Steelheads netminder Roman Basran recorded his first OHL shutout, stopping all twenty Bulldogs shots.
Hamilton is currently third in the Eastern Conference with a 15-7-2-2 record, two points ahead of the Steelheads, who are in fourth place.

North Bay is currently sitting in second place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 16-8-1-2, three points clear of the Steelheads, who are in second place in the Central Division.
