
Steelheads Announce Staff Additions, Promotions

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads have made multiple staff additions and promotions over the last few weeks, welcoming three full-time staff members to the organization and promoting one staff member, Idaho Sports Properties President Eric Trapp announced on Thursday.
Steven Anderson has been promoted to Assistant General Manager and will now have responsibilities on the business management side of the Steelheads in addition to his sales duties. Anderson, 27, begins his sixth full season with the Steelheads and seventh year overall, joining the organization as an intern during the 2012-13 season then serving as an Account Executive for three seasons and Senior Account Executive for the last two years. The Carson City, Nev., native was a 2018 ROSE Award recipient as well as 2016-17 ECHL Ticket Executive of the Year. Anderson graduated from Boise State University in 2013.
Olin Nordahl joins the Front Office Staff as the Media Content Director, leading video projects and content for the Steelheads and CenturyLink Arena. Nordahl, 23, enters his first full season with the Steelheads and second overall after joining an intern in 2017-18, assisting in multimedia production and leading on-ice promotions during games. The Wichita Falls, Texas product has worked multiple freelance projects, including video content for the University of Maryland - Baltimore County (UMBC) during the 2018 NCAA Tournament and local productions in the Boise area. Nordahl graduated from Boise State University in May.
Brett Countryman returns to the Steelheads as the Director of Game Operations & Account Executive, leading in-game entertainment and contributing to day-to-day sales. Countryman, 24, enters his first full season and third overall after interning with the Steelheads for two seasons from 2015-17, assisting in promotions and marketing as well as directing four events for Front Street Fights. Last year, the Bridgewater, N.J., native was as a Mascot Assistant with the Carolina Hurricanes, assisting in promotions and the in-arena experience. Countryman graduated from Boise State University in 2016.
Karl Winks enters his first season with the Steelheads as an Account Executive. Winks, 25, is a native of Meridian and has worked as an intern with the Cathedral of the Rockies, assisting in marketing, event planning and social media. He also worked with Urban Outfitters. Winks graduated from Boise State University in May with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and a minor in visual arts.
The Steelheads begin a six-game road trip on Friday, Oct. 26 at 7:05 p.m. from Maverik Center against the Utah Grizzlies and return to CenturyLink Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 7:10 p.m. against the Tulsa Oilers.
