Steelheads Announce Individual Game Tickets On Sale Monday

BOISE, Idaho - The two-time ECHL Kelly Cup Champion Idaho Steelheads announced today that single game tickets for the team's 2008-09 season at Qwest Arena go on sale to the general public beginning at 10 am on Monday, Sept. 22.

Fans who purchase tickets at the Qwest Arena Box Office on Sept. 22 can enter into a drawing to win two Season Tickets (value $1,000) for the Steelheads 2008-09 campaign. One entry per each ticket purchased.

The Steelheads drop the puck on their 12th season, sixth in the ECHL, at home on Saturday, Oct. 18. The puck drops at 7:10 pm; doors open at 6:30 pm.

Tickets are available exclusively at the Qwest Arena Box Office, by phone (208) 331.TIXS (8497), toll free (888) 330.TIXS (8497), or online at www.idahosteelheads.com. Individual Steelheads tickets are priced at levels of $32.50, $28, $24.50, $21.50, $15, and Junior (under 16)/Senior (over 62) pricing of $7 and $10 respectively, plus Arena fees. A special KTIK 1350 The Ticket section is available with padded seats for $13.50 each.

In addition, a variety of packages are available including Full Season Tickets, Flex Plans, Season Mini Plans, Suite Rentals, and Group Outings, many at lower prices over last year's rates. Ticket packages and suites may be purchased by calling (208) 383-0080 or visiting www.idahosteelheads.com.

Ladies Night : every Wednesday

The coolest place to be is heating up on Wednesday nights! Ladies (and dudes too) can enjoy drink specials, including $3.00 drafts and $3.00 well-drinks, until the puck drops to start the second period of play. Lower bowl tickets start at $15.00.

Family Fun Fridays : every Friday

4 for $44! Purchase four (or more) tickets to any Friday game for just $11.00 each, and with each ticket receive a 22-oz Pepsi and Double R Ranch Hotdog. Between period promotions include the Mighty Mites and Figure Skaters. Plus, kids can visit the Booster Club table to get a face painting!

Sell Out Saturdays : every Saturday

Since joining the ECHL, the Steelheads lead the league in sell-outs - a tribute to our fans! To say "thanks," anytime the Steelheads announce a Saturday night sell out crowd, fans can enjoy half-priced pitchers of domestic beer or soda in the SportsZone (3rd floor, Qwest Arena) for the remainder of the evening. Lower bowl tickets start at $15.00.

Autographs

New this season, fans may meet the entire Steelheads team on the ice and get autographs immediately following select games: Saturday, Oct. 18, Friday, Nov. 21, Friday, Dec. 26, Friday, Jan. 9, Friday, Feb. 13, and Friday, Mar. 6.

Giveaways

The following giveaway items are guaranteed to all full-season Idaho Steelheads Ticket Holders and season-mini plan holders. Any remaining giveaway items will be distributed to the first fans through the door on the designated nights while supplies last. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
