The Sudbury Wolves closed-out their 3-game road trip with a heart-breaking 4-3 loss to the Mississauga Steelheads. The Wolves led 3-0 early in the second period on the strength of two goals by Pavel Jenys and one by Matt Schmalz. The Steelheads responded with four unanswered goals, including three goals on 14 shots in the third period to pick-up the win and sweep the six-game season series with the Wolves.

Sam Tanguay was solid in goal for the Wolves once again as the rookie goaltender made his fifth consecutive start in goal for the Wolves. The Wolves outshot the Steelheads 42-35. The Steelheads were 0 for 4 with the man advantage while the Wolves were 0 for 2 on the power play. The Wolves will be looking to get back in the win column this week as they will begin a four-game home stand to close-out their home-game schedule.

The Wolves host the Niagara IceDogs on Tuesday, March 3rd at 7:00 pm

The Wolves host the Belleville Bulls on Friday, March 6th at 7:30 pm

The Wolves host the North Bay Battalion on Saturday, March 7th at 7:00 pm

The Wolves host the Peterborough Petes on Friday, March 13th at 7:30 pm.
