
Stealth Defeat Roughnecks 13-9

Langley, BC - The Calgary Roughnecks dropped a 13-9 decision to the Vancouver Stealth on Saturday at the Langley Events Centre.
Calgary, who built an early 2-0 lead with goals from Garrett McIntosh and Jeff Shattler, trailed 6-4 after 30 minutes. The visiting Roughnecks pulled within one goal on two occasions in the third quarter but came up short as Vancouver carried the lead into the final frame.
Shawn Evans, who recorded his 700th career NLL point setting up Shattler's marker, finished the game with a pair of goals and three assists. Curtis Dickson (2g, 2a), Dane Dobbie (1g, 3a) and Mike Carnegie (1g, 1a) all had a multi-point night while Matthew Dinsdale rounded out the scoring for Calgary.
Rhys Duch carried Vancouver's offence, scoring four goals and adding two assists. Tyler Digby and Tyler Garrison each scored twice while five different Stealth players also found the back of net.
Tyler Richards picked up the win, his third of the season, with a 37-save effort while Frankie Scigliano made 37 stops for Calgary.
The Roughnecks (0-6) and Stealth (3-3) will wrap up the home-and-home series on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7:00 p.m. at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
