Charlottetown Islanders News Release

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE - As the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League season resumes for Nova Scotia and PEI-based teams, the Charlottetown Islanders would like to sincerely thank all season ticket holders, sponsors, and fans for their patience and understanding as we've drafted the blueprint for the second half of this season. In keeping aligned with Chief Public Health Office's current guidelines, while also keeping the best interests of our players and their billet families in mind, the Islanders have allotted the maximum number of available tickets to close contacts of the organization until the public gatherings limits increase. No additional tickets are available at this current time.

"The current situation is far from ideal. We'd love nothing more than to share in the excitement of live Islanders hockey with our many passionate fans throughout the community " said Islanders President of Operations Craig Foster. "We will continue to monitor the public gatherings situation and adjust our operational plan once it is safe to do so. The last 10 months have been absolutely devastating for our business, but we are looking forward to when we can all be together at the Eastlink Centre."

All current season ticket holders will receive a credit for any games missed due to public gatherings restrictions that can be applied to their 2021-2022 season ticket balance, or towards the 2021 President's Cup Playoffs. Once again, we sincerely thank you all for your patience and understanding, and can't wait to see you soon.
