Statement from Kelly Krauskopf Following Karima Christmas Departure
February 5, 2015 - Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA)
Indiana Fever News Release
Earlier this afternoon, the Tulsa Shock announced the signing of restricted free agent Karima Christmas. Indiana Fever President and General Manager Kelly Krauskopf has issued the following statement of thanks for Karima's service in Indianapolis:
"I want to wish Karima the best of luck and thank her for all that she did for us in Indiana. We were simply not in a position from a cap standpoint to match Tulsa's offer. The matrix of our team this year, as well as in future years, precluded me from doing so. Karima was a huge part of our success and I wish her nothing but the best."
