CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Huntsville combined stellar pitching with the offensive prowess of Drew T. Anderson and Brett Lawrie in an 8-2 win over the Lookouts in Friday night action at AT&T Field.

Huntsville jumped off to an early 1-0 lead in the third inning. Stars starting pitcher Mark Rogers helped his own cause by doubling with one out. After a Brett Lawrie strike out, Caleb Gindl ripped a double to bring home Rogers.

The Stars augmented their lead in the fourth inning on a two-RBI single from Lawrie to put the score 3-0. Two more insurance runs were added in seventh inning for Huntsville. With one out, Caleb Gindl began the rally with a single and advanced to second on a Drew T. Anderson walk. Zelous Wheeler followed with a single to drive home Gindl. Lookouts relief pitcher James Adkins continued to struggle, as he walked Taylor Green to load the bases. Steffan Wilson hit a sacrifice fly to center field, increasing the Stars' lead to 5-0.

Lawrie struck again in the eighth inning by nailing an RBI double. Anderson then one-upped Lawrie with a two-run shot over the right field wall.

The Lookouts would finally enter the scoreboard in the eighth inning. Eddy Perez led off with a single and made his way home on a subsequent triple from Dee Gordon. A Jerry Sands sacrifice fly put the score at its final resting point, 8-2.
