On Saturday, Stars RHP Mark Williams was placed on the disabled list (retroactive to 8/14). In 15 appearances with the Stars this season, Williams has a 0-0 record with a 5.40 ERA in 30 innings.
In a corresponding move, RHP Michael Olmsted was transferred from Triple-A Nashville to Huntsville. In 49 appearances this season, Olmsted has 1-1 record with a 6.71 ERA with the Sounds. Olmsted is a member of the Brewers 40-man roster.
Olmsted will wear #45.
The Stars active roster sits at 25 players, the Southern League maximum.
