
Stars Led to Victory by Utah Jazz Two-Way Players

SALT LAKE CITY - The Salt Lake City Stars, the official NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, defeated the Stockton Kings 129-121 tonight at the Maverik Center, led by Utah Jazz two-way players Josh Christopher, Micah Potter, and Johnny Juzang.
Christopher led the Stars with a career-high 33 points to go with 10 assists, marking his first double-double and 30-point performance of the season. Meanwhile, Potter secured his first double-double of the showcase cup season, notching 26 points and 12 rebounds. The two-way center added an additional three steals, five assists and five blocks on the night. Juzang came off the bench to contribute 27 points, on 5-of-6 (.833) from beyond the arc, to go with three rebounds and two assists.
It was a back-and-forth battle between the Stars and the Kings throughout the game. The teams traded baskets before the Stars took the lead to end the period 37-32.
Salt Lake City continued to climb with the help of Juzang, who secured 12 points in the second quarter. However, Kings guard Colby Jones' dunk, followed by a driving layup, sent both teams into the break tied 71-71. The close competition continued before Salt Lake City came out ahead, grabbing their second home victory 129-121.
The Stars will remain in Salt Lake City for their fourth consecutive home game against the Santa Cruz Warriors on Tuesday, Nov. 21. The game will tip off at 7 p.m. (MT) at the Maverik Center and can be streamed on ESPN+ and Jazz+.
