SALT LAKE CITY - After coming off their biggest double-digit win of the season on Tuesday against the Santa Cruz Warriors, Salt Lake City fought to the finish in the tight single-point road loss to the Oklahoma City Blue at the Paycom Center Friday afternoon, 112-111.
The first half was a closely matched contest with two lead changes and three ties, but the fight only fueled on with the Stars and Blue going basket-to-basket throughout the rest of the face-off. Salt Lake City didn't let up with their offensive production in the first half with help from Paris Bass' 11 points. Salt Lake City managed to close out the second quarter ahead 48-46 going five-of-six from the free-throw line.
The Stars had a solid fourth quarter in this close matchup with a six-point lead. Wilson, sending him to the line netting two-of-two to secure the single point victory for Oklahoma City.
