
Stamps Travel to Winnipeg for Match with Bombers

The Calgary Stampeders travel to Winnipeg to face the Blue Bombers in Week 2. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at Canad Inns Stadium.
The Stamps and Bombers lost their season openers last week. Calgary lost 40-27 to the Montreal Alouettes at McMahon Stadium while Winnipeg lost 19-17 to the Edmonton Eskimos at Commonwealth Stadium.
The teams split the 2008 season-series with each team winning a game at home. The Bombers defeated the Stamps 32-28 on July 24 at Canad Inns Stadium and the Stamps beat the Bombers 37-16 on Oct. 18 at McMahon.
The next home game for the Stamps is July 17 against the Toronto Argonauts. Kickoff is 7 p.m. at McMahon Stadium.
