
Stamps Make Roster Moves

Calgary Stampeders News Release
The Calgary Stampeders completed the following transactions on Saturday, May 30:
- Guard Bobby Singh failed his physical and was released.
- Defensive back J.R. Ruffin failed his physical and was released.
- Offensive tackle Dave Costa has retired from football.
- Running back Ken Simonton failed his physical because of a non-football related injury and has been placed on the disabled list while he recovers.
- Cornerback R.J. Cobbs and defensive end Jeremiah Turner were released.
Stamps head coach/general manager John Hufnagel will be available for comment after morning practice on Sunday, June 1 at McMahon Stadium. Training camp begins Sunday with sessions from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The Stamps remind fans that following Sunday's first practice, the team will have its Training Camp Opener barbeque in the South Parking Lot. Food and beverages are provided by Nicastro's Neighbourhood Pub, Schneiders and Pepsi. Welldaq Data Systems is the presenting sponsor of Stampeders training camp.
