
Stampede's second annual Boise State Night ready to tip off

(Boise, Idaho) - The second annual Boise State Night at the Idaho Stampede on Wednesday, March 14 at Qwest Arena will feature discounted tickets and prizes for Bronco fans.
Tickets are available for only $10 through the Stampede front office at (208) 388-4667 for those identifying themselves as part of Bronco Nation. The first 1,500 people in attendance will receive a free poster of Bronco Stadium from Orange and Blue Out Night, courtesy of Kareck Photo and Design.
The Gene Harris All-Stars Jazz Band will perform the national anthem. The Gene Harris All-stars provides aspiring students of jazz music an opportunity to further their learning through advanced-level training and performances. The four-time national champion Boise State Mane Line Dancers will perform at halftime.
A no-host reception for the "Bronco Nation" will begin at 5 p.m. at the SportsZone, located on the third floor at Qwest Arena and will feature Stampede Head Coach Bryan Gates speaking about the upcoming game. Doors open at 6 p.m. and tip-off against the Austin Toros is at 7 p.m.

The D-League currently includes the Albuquerque Thunderbirds (N.M.), Anaheim Arsenal (Calif.), Arkansas RimRockers (Little Rock), Austin Toros (Texas), Bakersfield Jam (Calif.), Colorado 14ers (Broomfield), Dakota Wizards (Bismarck, N.D.), Fort Worth Flyers (Texas), Idaho Stampede (Boise), Los Angeles D-Fenders (Calif.), Sioux Falls Skyforce (S.D.) and Tulsa 66ers (Okla.).
The D-League continues to develop talent from across all disciplines for the NBA's 30 teams and the entire NBA umbrella. In addition to the assignment of 20 NBA players to D-League affiliates this season, there have also been 11 GATORADE Call-Ups from the D-League to the NBA. Additionally, every referee hired by the NBA since 2002 has worked in the D-League, while coaches, athletic trainers and front office executives are also being developed.
