Stampeders' 2023 Schedule Announced

The Calgary Stampeders are pleased to announce their schedule for the 2023 Canadian Football League season.

"The release of the schedule always creates anticipation for the new season," said Stampeders president John Hufnagel. "We're very pleased with the schedule and our fans can look forward to some great action at McMahon Stadium in 2023."

Some features of the Stamps' 2023 schedule include:

Pre-season games at home against the Edmonton Elks on May 22 and in Vancouver against the BC Lions on June 1

A Thursday Night Football home meeting with the BC Lions to kick off the CFL's 2023 regular-season schedule

Two regular-season visits to Calgary by both the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Winnipeg Blue Bombers

Two regular-season trips to Vancouver by the Stamps to face the Lions

The traditional Labour Day Classic against Edmonton

In interdivisional action, the Alouettes, Argonauts and Redblacks all come to McMahon Stadium while the Stamps will make a trip to all four East Division cities - Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto

A Sunday 5 p.m. home game against Ottawa on July 23. Regular-season dates at McMahon also include four Fridays and two Saturdays as well as the Thursday season-opener and the Labour Day Monday contest

A Saturday matinee against Montreal on Sept. 23

Five summer home dates - two in June, one in July and two in August - prior to the Labour Day Classic and three fall games - one in September and two in October - following the annual grudge match against the Elks

A meeting at McMahon with the Blue Bombers to wrap up the regular season

The return of Saturday games for the division semifinal and final rounds

Byes in Weeks 4, 15 and 18
