Ottawa RedBlacks News Release

OTTAWA - The Ottawa REDBLACKS will open the season on the road against the Montreal Alouettes before kicking off their home schedule with Thursday Night Football against the Calgary Stampeders at TD Place.

The matchup with Calgary is the beginning of Ottawa's nine-game home schedule, that sees two visits each from Montreal, and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, a home date with the Saskatchewan Roughriders for the first time since 2019, along with matchups against the Edmonton Elks, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and the regular season's final game, against the defending Grey Cup Champion Toronto Argonauts.

The home opener is the lone Thursday night game of the year. Ottawa will play at home four times on Friday nights and four times on Saturdays, with two of those being 4 PM starts.

The REDBLACKS will hit the road nine teams in 2023, including the season's only game against the BC Lions. Ottawa will make two visits to Montreal, and Toronto, respectively, also stopping in on Hamilton, Calgary, Saskatchewan, and Edmonton.

Ottawa will have a pair of preseason games on May 26, and June 1 against the Alouettes in Ottawa and the Argonauts in Toronto, with both set for 7:30pm ET.

The 2023 CFL playoffs will wrap up with the 110th Grey Cup, from Tim Horton's Field in Hamilton, on Sunday, November 19.
